ASDA April 2004 meeting
April 14, 2004 ... Janet Marsden recorded the following minutes.
Held at the Skaneateles REC Center meeting in the upstairs mezzanine, there were 12 in attendance. Attending: Keith & Janet Marsden, Clay & Kim Caldwell, Cher Benda, RJ Bent, Rick Horr, Bob & Donna Seiselmyer, Scott & Mark Charette, John Terpening.
First on the agenda was John Terpening (Skaneateles Lake Sailboat Club) -- inviting ASDA to help with milfoil control (with permission of NYS DEC). We agreed to meet at the Sailboat Club, Saturday, May 8th at 9:00 A.M. to dive and assist in placing two (2) blankets. BYOF&B for noon picnic, grills will be available.
Our club website has been renewed for 5 years -- be sure to visit often.
Our Calendar of Events is revised regularly and reflects the latest news, check it often.
The Forum is available for all club members to share and communicate with one another.

HOSTS
are NEEDED for club meeting nights throughout the upcoming 2004 Dive
Season. Our needs are simple:
A place to shore dive
A place to hold our meeting. weather permitting, we can be outside.
A place to BBQ would be nice, but not necessary --- It's always BYOF&B

Our Wednesday night DIVES will begin, May 12th. This is also our
regular meeting night. A HOST IS NEEDED .. if you
can help, let one of the officers know. Place TBA.

at the Ukrainian Club.

involved.
Clay will contact Gary Tanner to find out if the UNC is available for us
again.

MEMBERSHIP/TREASURER'S REPORT: Cher Benda
Club Dues are due for the coming dive season ... everyone should of
received a mailing with membership forms. All members need to update
their information.
84 members on the roll currently
WELCOME new MEMBERS: Jim Clark, Alex, Stephen and Teresa Gable, Don Groff, Ann Marie Smith.
To save on postage, we only mail membership cards to new members. All others may pick up their renewal cards at meetings.
2004 Buddy List will be ready to pass out at the June meeting and will be available at all meetings throughout the year.
Current balance in checking account: $1,671.54
We have renewed our membership with DAN (Divers Alert Network) and NYSDA (New York State Divers Association)

Fri. - Sun., July 30 - August 1, 2004 Woodlot Weekend DIVE and WATER SPORT
fun! Gary and Sue have invited the club to join them at camp again for a weekend party of food, games and waterfront activities. Arrive Friday July 30 for spaghetti dinner. Sat. bring your own meat to barbecue and a dish to pass. Sunday, Turkey dinner, mid afternoon and home before supper time.

October 2004 16th Annual Pumpkin Dive -- Date TBA, but The event will be held at the Fallbrook camp again on Skaneateles Lake.
Saturday, December 4, 2004, ASDA Annual CHRISTMAS PARTY
Keith Marsden and Bob Seiselmyer will be Co-Chairs for this year's annual
Christmas Party as Lanny Hicks is unable to chair this year. Many
thanks to Lanny and Theresa for all your years of service...much appreciated!
