Diving/Whale Expedition in Tadoussac, Quebec Canada

Friday -  Monday, August 5, 6, 7, 8, 2005   [REVISED DATES]  

Divers: 
3 nights, all meals, 2 dives Sat., 2 dives Sunday Air fills, [Nitrox available but extra].  There is a storage area for our suits.  Water temperature is between 1-4 degrees Celsius all year.  Plan to see sponges, anemones, hydromedusa, nudibranchs, crabs, sea stars, sun stars, urchins, Atlantic wolf fish, and hopefully whales!  There is a 35' wooden boat with a capacity of 16 divers and 5 Dive masters.  They also are assuring us that everyone will be comfortable.  There is a fee for a temporary diving certificate of $5.00 Canadian.  This is good for 30 days.  Everyone must show proof of their certification:  C-cards and they also require everyone's log book for their review.  You will need to have at least 10 dives in cold water in the past 3 years.  Cost:  $156.00 Canadian + tax + $5.00

Non-Divers: 
3 nights, all meals.  There are hiking trails, volleyball, picnic tables, fire sites etc.  We are allowed to bring our own kayaks and canoes, but if you'd like to rent them, there is a rental center 5 minutes away and the rental price is around $40.00 Canadian dollars for a 3 hour expedition.  Cost:  $140.00 Canadian + tax

Children under 12:
Same package as non-divers package.  Cost:  $99.00 Canadian + tax

We would be staying at the Gi'te du Plongeur, Bed and Breakfast.  This is a B&B that has 4-6 persons in each room.  They can accommodate 16-24 people.  We are allowed to bring tents if we'd like but there is no price change.  The meals would be stuff like pasta, hamburgers and chicken, etc.  [Traditional Canadian meals].  There is parking for at least 25 vehicles.  

There will be a FANTASTIC BOAT WHALE WATCHING EXPEDITION FOR EVERYONE.  This price is included. 

Maximum of 24 people can be booked for this weekend.
